Scientific work
Research work of the Department of Management is aimed at preparing applicants for EP "Management of Organisations" for independent professional and scientific activities, solving practical management problems that arise in organisations of various forms of ownership and types of economic activity. The main research is carried out in the context of the research topic "Financial and economic and management mechanisms for regulating the development of the national economy in the context of globalisation" (state registration number: 0118U001562) head: Doctor of Sciences, Professor V.I. Boreiko.
Research forms and teaching methods are used in the teaching of most disciplines. The disciplines of the curriculum "Fundamentals of Scientific Research" and "Research Methodology and Academic Integrity" help applicants to discover the issues of methodology, organisation and conduct of scientific research, in order to prepare for independent scientific work. The theoretical, research part is a mandatory component of master's qualification works, the topics of which are formed taking into account the interests of students and aimed at researching current issues. In the process of preparation of qualification works, applicants acquire skills of processing scientific literature, generalisation of empirical material, formulation of conclusions and proposals, correct citation and academic integrity. An additional means of implementing the research component in the educational process is the activity created within the faculty of the student scientific society "Source", within which the scientific work of students, participation in scientific and practical Ukrainian and international conferences, individual or co-authored with the supervisor publishing abstracts and articles in scientific publications of the university (Ukraine and abroad)
The Department of Management is a permanent co-organiser of the International Scientific and Practical Internet Conference "Actual Problems of Management of Socio-Economic Systems".
The results of scientific research of lecturers of the department are used in the educational process in the teaching of academic disciplines.
Software and hardware for checking academic texts for borrowings is an aid in identifying the facts of academic plagiarism. Procedures and the order of their application are regulated by the Regulations on ensuring the observance of academic integrity by research and lecturing staff and students at the University.
Verification of qualification, educational-methodical and scientific works for the presence of coincidences, identity, similarity is carried out using the software and hardware complex Unichek (https://unicheck.com/uk-ua). An agreement has been signed with Unichek Ukraine to provide academic text verification services.
When making the final expert decision, the specifics of the work are taken into account, which is checked for the presence of academic plagiarism (field of knowledge, specialty), type of work (article, qualification work, monograph, textbook, dissertation, etc.) and its uniqueness.
The University promotes academic integrity among applicants for higher education, primarily through the systematic and consistent implementation of this policy in the internal academic culture of the educational process, as well as the appropriate direction of the social component of general and professional competencies of the educational program.
Applicants for higher education are introduced to the principles of academic integrity in lectures, practical and seminar classes. This issue is studied in the most detail during the study of the disciplines of the plan "Fundamentals of Scientific Research" and "Methodology of Scientific Research and Academic Integrity". Some aspects of academic integrity are considered at meetings of the student scientific society "Source", where participants are informed about the rules of citation, acquainted with the guidelines for writing scientific articles, qualifying papers.
Research activities of applicants for higher education in the specialty 073 "Management" and research and lecturing staff of the Department of Management is aimed at providing students with professional experience, research experience, research and implementation of their results and research in the practical activities of enterprises and organizations and institutions.
During the existence of the department the following scientific and pedagogical workers received scientific degrees: Nykonchuk Viktoriia Mykolaivna (2010 r.); Demydiuk Serhii Maksymovych (2012 r.); Trofimchuk Mykhailo Oleksandrovych (2016 r.) ; Hlushkova Tetiana Serhiivna (2016 r.); Romanov Artur Dmytrovych (2018 r.).
