The Faculty of Journalism hosted an online meeting with Tetiana Arsentivna, a leading specialist in the public relations Department of the State Scientific and Technical Center for Nuclear and Radiation Safety.
Despite the format of the videoconference, the participants of the event managed to discuss a wide range of issues and communicate in a "response format".
Ms. Tatiana spoke about the peculiarities of working with information in the field of nuclear energy. Since the Faculty of Journalism is actively working the Scientific and Practical Laboratory "Atomic Journalism", students learn to write narrow-profile texts and received a lot of necessary practical information about the nuances of information on nuclear energy.
We dwelled on the sources of information, their selection and verification. They also talked about the specifics of the activities of the public relations department and writing press releases.
