Meeting between Twinning Program coordinators

On October 3, 2023 the first meeting of the new academic year took place between the coordinators of the Twinning Program - Ian Gadd, Head of Department of Development for European Projects (Bath Spa University, UK) and Alina Lavreniuk, Head of the International and Project Department (IUEH).

The coordinators discussed the results achieved over the past year and the activities that have already taken place between the universities this academic year.

They also discussed further plans for joint international events. In particular, they focused on the preparation of documentation for reporting on the grant project "I Vote for Peace: Cooperation and Compassion in a Time of War", which will end on December 31, 2023.

Colleagues also outlined the possibility of submitting joint grant applications, the possibility of implementing an international academic mobility program for masters and graduate students in various fields.

They agreed to hold a scientific and practical workshop on academic integrity to explore the features and differences between the principles of academic integrity in Ukraine and the UK in order to conduct joint research.

In particular, the coordinators discussed and revised the joint research and innovation strategy and action plan for the next 5 years.
