Dean of the Faculty of Journalism, PhD, Associate Professor Viktoriia Zoliak and representatives of the International-Project Department Anastasiia Yakovchuk and Alina Lavreniuk took part in the meeting of the Governing Board of the international project DESTIN "Journalism Education for Democracy in Ukraine: Development of Standards, Integrity and Professionalism". The main issue of the meeting was the revision of the main plans for the project implementation over the next 9 months. Participants discussed the importance of ensuring the visibility of project results on the official websites of all partners and the details of further distribution of funding. Strategies for sustainability of results after the project completion and organizational aspects for holding the final conference in Lviv in May 2022 were considered.
Some issues included the preparation for the implementation of the Association of Journalists in the context of the logical continuation of activities, as well as the approval and implementation of national recommendations developed during the implementation of the initiative. The meeting ended with a proposal to introduce a program of double diplomas in the field of journalism and expressing views on the implementation of this provision.
