International women's volleyball tournament started. The competition is dedicated to the memory of the founder of the Academician Stepan Demianchuk International University of the Economic and Humanities – Stepan Yakymovych Demianchuk.
Four teams took part in the competition: "Halychanka-TNEU-Hadz" Ternopil, "Volyn-Universytet-DIUSSH" Lutsk, "Rehina-MEHU-OSHVSM" Rivne and "Regina-2-Kostopil Regional Sports Lyceum" Rivne. The event started with greetings from the Rector, Doctor of Sciences, Professor Vitalii Demianchu and the President, Doctor of Sciences, Professor Anatolii Demianchuk, who wished athletes inspiration to win, believe in their strength and the best results in a fierce struggle. Honorary guests of the event – Head of the Department of Physical Education and Sports of the Department for Youth and Sports Petro Nahornyi and Director of the School of Sports Skills, participant of the Olympic Games, master of sports of international class Leonid Kamlochuk also added cheerfulness at the start.
They raised the fighting spirit of the volleyball players and added to the festivities for participants of the Center for Aesthetic and Civic Education of Academician Stepan Demianchuk IUEH student youth. The folk song ensemble "Zoretsvit" performed several touching compositions, and the choreographic greeting of the modern dance ensemble "Insight" ignited the hearts of those present.
The competition will last for three days, during which the strongest team will be determined. We wish all participants success, strength and victory!
