Lecturers of the Academician Stepan Demianchuk IUEH Faculty of History and Philology took part in the August Pedagogical Studies of the Rivne Regional Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education "Competence direction of preschool, general secondary and extracurricular education in the new Ukrainian school."
Associate Professor of the Department of Ukrainian Language and Literature Ovdiichuk L.M. took part in the section "Ukrainian Language and Literature" for leaders of methodological associations of territorial communities, which took place online on the topic "Competence direction of language and literature education in the new Ukrainian school." As one of the authors of the model curriculum in Ukrainian literature for 5-6 class of the new Ukrainian school (NUS) Liliia Mykolaivna represented new approaches to the formation of content, which is updated through the texts of modern authors, to the formation of artistic context and extracurricular reading by genre-thematic principle. The main thing during the creation of the program, the lecturer emphasized, was the competence approach with the requirements of the new State Standard.
Teachers of Rivne region had the opportunity to get acquainted with the specifics of the program, the proposed texts through a multimedia presentation, which representatively visualizes the necessary information. The author's team, which consisted of specialists from different fields: psychological and pedagogical, methodological, literary, cultural, - headed by Doctor of Sciences, Chief Researcher of the Department of Ukrainian Language and Literature of the Institute of Pedagogy of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences Tamila Yatsenko.
