On September 23, 2021, the Faculty of Pedagogics hosted a seminar "Use of STEM-technologies in preschool and primary education", which for students of the speciality 012 Preschool Education and 013 Primary Education was conducted by a graduate of the Faculty of Pedagogics, educator of Volodymyrets College Lyceum Rusin Maryna Mykolaivna.
Future educators and primary school teachers got acquainted with modern technologies used in the educational process of Volodymyrets Lyceum "College": STEM-laboratory, laboratory of robotics, laboratory of design and technical activities, laboratory of technical creativity, laboratory of development of technical skill, laboratory of modern clothes, beauty and health, laboratory of culinary art.
Maryna Mykolaivna shared her experience of conducting integrated decades and months on STEM-topics for grades 1-4, which ensure the implementation of the main tasks of a modern Ukrainian school to form a person who is successful in the labor market, able to learn throughout life, think critically, set goals and achieve them, communicate in a multicultural environment and have other modern skills.
Students learned that new information, computer and multimedia technologies provide each child with equal opportunities to receive a quality education and realize themselves as a successful person.
