Scientific Work

Research work of the Department of Theory and Methods of Journalistic Creativity is aimed at preparing applicants for EP "Journalism" for independent professional and scientific activities, solving practical communication problems that arise in the process of working with the media. The main research is carried out in the context of the research topic Responsible executor of the research topic “Research of the role of modern liberal information culture in the system of social communications” (№ state registration 0118U001563) Doctor of Sciences, Professor of the Department Mitchuk O.A.

Research work of the academic staff of the department is aimed at studying current issues in the field of social communications and the creation of scientific products of an innovative nature.

To improve the quality of scientific work, lecturers of the department conduct methodological seminars on the use of scientific metric databases in scientific and educational literature. Practical experience and strengthening of significance of scientific achievements, creation of scientific products of innovative character by the teaching staff of the department are the result of passing of internships and advanced training by lecturers of the department.

Lecturers of the department involve applicants for higher education in EP "Journalism" to participate in the All-Ukrainian competition of student research papers and student competitions.

Within the faculty there is a student scientific society "Intellect". There the scientific work of students, participation in scientific and practical Ukrainian and international conferences, individual or co-authored with the supervisor publications of abstracts and articles in scientific publications of the university, Ukraine and abroad took part.
