On Friday, March 28, 2025, a regular meeting of the scientific problem section within the framework of the international British programme Vitae was held. Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Oksana Marchuk joined the discussion. This time, the scientists discussed the specifics of educational coaching. Under the chairmanship of Academic Talent and EDI officer Teresa Rosas, the main principles of coaching in education were identified.

Coaching in education is a creative interaction of equal participants in the educational process aimed at identifying and realizing the potential of the student to achieve high educational, professional, social, and personal development.

Prof. Marchuk told the audience about the coaching system at our university, in particular, she explained that higher education students work on writing qualification papers under the guidance of experienced teachers. She also noted that students write scientific articles and theses coordinated by PhDs and doctors of science, and emphasized the important role of the supervisor (consultant/mentor) when working on dissertation research. Analyzing the coaching at the university, Prof. Marchuk emphasized its effectiveness, as evidenced by the indicators of scientific work in 2024-2025. She also described the role of academic group curators in the adaptation of freshmen to study and in the education of students.
