On October 8 - on the Day of the Lawyer, Vice-Rector for Scientific Work - Borovyk Andrii Volodymyrovych, PhD, Associate Professor, Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Administrative Law Disciplines, Honorary Professor Akademie Huspol (Czech Republic), Honorary Professor European Institute of Further Education (Slovak Republic), Honorary Professor of Donetsk University of Economics and Law (Ukraine) held an open lecture for law students on the topic: "Peculiarities of the prosecutor's assessment of the expert's conclusions on the impossibility of resolving issues on the merits" within the discipline: "Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine"
In addition to students and lecturers of the Faculty of Law, the Rector, Vice-rectors of the University, Deans and lecturers of other faculties attended the lecture.
In addition, judges, prosecutors and national police officers came to listen to the lecture. During the lecture, the professor identified 12 main reasons for experts in criminal proceedings to decide on the impossibility of solving the tasks on the merits and named the specific issues that the prosecutor should ask when receiving these conclusions. Judges and prosecutors present, as well as students, asked questions that arose in practice in connection with obtaining expert opinions on the impossibility of resolving the issues on the merits, to which they received full and reasoned answers.
