In the academic year 2024-2025, our university continues to actively cooperate with the academic staff of the Bath Spa University (England). The exchange of pedagogical experience during scientific lunch seminars has already become a tradition.
On Wednesday, 18 September 2024, bachelor's, master's and PhD students majoring in 011 “Educational, Pedagogical Sciences” (field of knowledge - 01 Education) joined the discussion of the topic “Attachment Aware schools - theoretical and policy perspectives”. The speaker, Richard Parker, introduced the audience to person-centred approaches in education. He developed the “theory of responsive education”, which involves the individual needs of the child when developing curricula and programmes. The English scientist explained that the development of such approaches improves the learning process and makes it possible to ensure that the educational needs of those who experience difficulties are properly met.
During the seminar, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Oksana Marchuk explained that individualisation and humanisation of the educational process are the main principles of Ukrainian educational institutions.
