On February 27, 2024, the COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning) teacher training program began as part of the Twinning program.
27 participants were selected from all over Ukraine in various fields. Two teachers from Academician Stepan Demianchuk International University of Economics and Humanities were invited to participate: Alina Lavreniuk, lecturer at the Department of Romance and Germanic Philology, and Viktoriia Artiushok, Associate Professor at the Department of Management.
The program consists of 5 online workshops using Padlet technologies and the development of own COIL project for further implementation. As a result, experts will help you find partners for implementation and evaluate the project according to European criteria.
What is COIL?
Collaborative online international learning (COIL) is a fantastic way for a university to interact with other international universities and professional institutions. These opportunities, which are included in the curriculum, provide valuable experience of working with other people from different cultures and countries, help to develop digital skills and intercultural competence.
The COIL program is designed for students, teachers, international or industry partners.
COIL projects can be worked on in real time with students from other countries, allowing you to work together on targeted activities. They can also be worked on "asynchronously," meaning that students can work together at different times, allowing you to collaborate with people from countries whose time zones do not overlap.
