“The resilience of the IUEH team is about the ability to adapt” - Iryna Budz at the 8th International H-INET Conference (Tel Aviv University, Israel)

Head of the Romano-Germanic Philology Department Iryna Budz was invited by the colleagues from Tel Aviv University to speak at a panel session at the 8th International H-INET Conference.

The scientist outlined in her report “Teaching English in Wartime” the challenges of wartime for higher education institutions and the academic community of Ukraine, and also elaborated on the adaptation measures taken at IUEH to ensure a quality educational process.

Iryna Budz noted that “patriotic education, project initiatives, virtual student exchange, cooperation with foreign partners, innovative methods and forms of teaching are key aspects in teaching English during the war.” During the discussion, the Israeli colleagues expressed their support and admiration for the resilience of the IUEH staff.
