At the end of the working visit to the Bath Spa University (Bath, UK), the IUEH delegation, which included Rector Vitalii Demianchuk, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and Quality of Education Viktoriia Artiushok, Head of the Department of Romano-Germanic Philology Iryna Budz, Head of the International and Project Department Alina Lavreniuk, held a series of talks with the heads of departments of the British university. The results of the international advanced training programme ‘Leadership Programme’ were discussed during the meeting with the Heads of the Business School, Nasir Salari and Polly Derbyshire, and plans for cooperation for the next academic year were outlined. The new initiatives include workshops on digital marketing and creative management, a seminar on the principles of mentoring at the university, and training on workplace culture, including harassment and discrimination.
The meetings were also attended by Rachel McDonald, who highlighted the issue of international project funding, and Amber Lemonby-Penney, who presented the curricula for postgraduate students and supervisors at Bath Spa University.
The workshop, held by the University's Quality Assurance Managers, Terry-Ann Jones and Matthew Holt, focused on teaching and learning, administration and quality of education at the Bath Spa University. During the discussion, the participants had the opportunity to discuss the peculiarities of ensuring the quality of education and the structure of administration in Ukraine and the UK.
In addition, members of the IUEH delegation exchanged experience with TWINNING leaders from the South West of England, discussing challenges and prospects for cooperation, and took part in a webinar on ‘Opportunities and investments in strategic research and the future of the Ukrainian economy’.
