Our British partners from the Bath Spa University continue to involve the faculty staff and students of Academician Stepan Demianchuk International University of Economics and Humanities in research activities. Thus, on October 31, a scientific workshop “Find Your Academic Voice” was held, which was joined by researchers from IUEH in the following areas: English philology, pedagogy, cybernetics.
The event was aimed at helping scholars and teachers develop an individual style of academic writing, improve argumentation skills, and learn paraphrasing techniques.
Interactive tasks and practical exercises allowed the workshop participants to analyze different styles of academic writing, evaluate syntax, language structure, readability of authentic texts, and their emotional impact on the reader.
This event will promote understanding of the value of one's own academic voice, professional development, and effective communication with the global scientific community.
